Sister Pauleen changed her novice habit for the habit of a Simply Professed Cistercian Nun on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, October 7. Following her petition for vows, Mother Maureen's talk, Sr. Pauleen pronounced her first vows and then the white scapular and cloth belt of a Cistercian novice were replaced by a black scapular and leather belt.
