Worship: Today is the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of the 2009 liturgical year.  Wrentham was cold and grey outside, and the Abbey was in the deeper silence of Sunday.  The first candle on the Advent wreath was lit at First Vespers Saturday evening. Advent hymns opened each hour of divine praise.  In the coming days some of the liturgical music will be posted here.
