Sister Marion Batho, the Archdiocesan Delegate for Religious, came for morning Mass and a Chapter Room dialogue. As always it was a delight to be with her.
In January Cardinal Sean made his annual visit for Mass and dinner, sharing with us some of the news of the Archdiocese. Also in January Bishop Irwin, one of the Archdiocesan auxilliary bishops, came for Mass and dinner. Bishop Irwin administered the abbatial blessing to Mother Maureen in June, but was unable to stay and meet the community that day.
Coming events: we will have a new novice February 12. Come back and see her pictures. Two Solemn Professions are scheduled for the Easter Season, one in April and one in May.
We would like to call your attention to a very fine independent film, "Garry and Harry" by Steven Madeja. The film documents to lives of twin brothers who are priests and the care one is giving to the other who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's.
