Sister Sofia pronounced her first vows on August 15, the Solemnity of Our Lady's Assumption, and joined her two friends as Junior Professed Cistercian Nuns.  Photos may be found here.

August 7 Sister Carol celebrated her Diamond Jubilee of Monastic Profession (60 years) and Sister Dolores her Golden Jubilee of Monastic Profession (50 years). Mass was celebrated by Abbot Damian Carr of St. Joseph's Abbey (Spencer) and several other monk-priests. Some of Sister Dolores's family joined the celebration and friends of Sister Carol were present.

Sister Eve Marie's First Profession PDF Print E-mail

July 22, the Feast of Saint Mary Magdalen, Sister Eve Marie made her Simple Vows as a Cistercian Nun.  Some of her friends from Saint Anselm's College were able to come for Mass and the day.  We rejoice with her and invite you to do the same.

Sister Francesca's First Profession PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, May 1, we celebrated the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker and Sister Francesca's First Profession. After pronouncing her vows, Sister received a black scapular and leather belt to replace the novice white scapular and cloth belt. Her parents and sister were present for the day to celebrate this milestone in Sr. Francesca's life. More photos may be seen here.
